I love my Palm Pre but I'm starting to think it's something of a dead platform that only me and a handful of others are on.
Here's the thing, if you have a fledgling OS then you need to get it out to as wide an audience as possible attracting both end users and developers. So what the feggin' hell are they doing at Palm HQ?

Despite it being half a year since this Blog was updated and about five months since the last article was written I can assure you I do still have a pulse (just about), however non-exciting DIY tasks and big work projects are keeping my time fully occupied at present so this website has been keeping it's bottom warm on the back-burner for a while.
Trouble is, I've been under pressure to give the wife what she wants in the bedroom which, disappointingly, means an in-built walk-in wardrobe, new ceiling, lighting, furniture, floor, wall mounted LCD TV and paint job rather than anything more scintillating. As for work, a Blackberry rollout is going to keep me busy for the rest of July.
Despite a healthy level of activity on my Twitter account, sometimes 140 characters just isn't enough for a real sweary rant about something and as I have one or two things to get off my chest I might just lock myself in the toilet with my laptop and a few bottles of beer and get on with it one evening soon.

Whilst stabbing at the buttons on my car stereo to try and find something to listen to on the way in to work this morning I came across Classic FM presented by Jane Jones who is wetter than a fishes piss-hole and playing A Christmas Overture by Nigel Hess. I almost laughed my socks off at this festive mash up - a 'megamix' of every Christmas tune you can think of thrown together into a cacophonous car crash of a tune!
I didn't hear any Slade in there but then I didn't catch the beginning so it is possible I had missed Noddy Holder kicking the thing off by shouting "IT'S CHRRRIIIISSSTTTTMMMMAAAASSSS!"
Almost as funny was the advertisement that followed shortly afterwards proclaiming "winners drive Citroens!"
No.... No they don't.

Nigel dropped his Nokia E90 last October -the clot! Its been sitting on a shelf ever since waiting for the day when it can become a parts donor for when I (inevitably) end up dropping my E90.
What else to do with a busted Series 60 Symbian handset?
Well, how about turning it into a wireless webcam? So long as the camera isn't the busted bit...
